It has
been 30 years since Jeanne Reynolds' first major exhibition, and she
has been garnering honors ever since. Her work has been
exhibited widely, and resides in both private and corporate
collections. Her art falls into three categories: portraits, nature,
and visionary works. In her portraiture of people and animals she
creates compelling tributes to her subjects. Nature, especially
flowers, butterflies, birds, and ginko leaves, is a continuing
source of inspiration. And in her visionary art she renders her love
of illusion. Her honors include: the Memphis in May poster honoring
Russia, several prize winning portraits of our own Elvis,
highly collectable Blues Ball guitars, Best Female Artist in
Memphis 2004, and her much sought after portraits of people
and animals in various combinations.
